RemChoke Choke Tubes – RemChoke is a type of choke that was developed by Remington Arms Company in the late 1960s and early 1970s. It is named after its inventor, Robert M. Remington (1888-1957). The RemChoke system consists of two parts: the barrel extension or muzzle brake which fits onto your firearm’s barrel; and RemChoke choke tubes which attach to Remington Remchokes.

Remington RemChoke Choke Tubes are designed for use with Remington shotguns that have a threaded, tapered muzzle brake or extension at the end of their barrels (such as those found on much newer model 1100s). These chokes fit directly into these threads and tightly secure themselves against your firearm so they won’t come loose while shooting. When installed correctly, RemChokes should remain firmly in place even after repeated firings. If you’re unsure whether or not your shotgun has this feature, check with an expert before attempting installation yourself!
